Vibrant Sobral

I always like to share some of my favorite collections from talented designers.  One that I came across recently is Carlos Sobral.  Carlos lives in Brazil and has an amazing collection of jewelry and home accessories with the most vibrant colors, unique textures, and shapes.  The production process is eco-friendly using recycled materials.  You gotta love our planet Earth! :)

I can't help but want his jewelry in every design!  Check it out and let me know what you think...

My Love for Charles Shaw

It all started when I moved to Los Angeles and bought my first bottle of wine from Trader Joe's.  I discovered that really good wine does not need to cost a lot.  Charles Shaw, for those of you who are not familiar, is also known as Two-Buck Chuck.  Ahem...that's right! It only costs $1.99 and you can buy it at any Trader Joe's store.  Now, it's not your fancy Chateau Latour, but it is definitely a great tasting wine for your buck.  Yesterday, my friend Brooke and I decided to do an impromptu white sangria.  The results...magnificent taste worth a million bucks! ;)

Ingredients:
2 Bottles of Charles Shaw Sauvignon Blanc
Sparkling mineral water
Vodka
Passion Fruit Juice
And a splash of Champagne to top it off!
Fruit- pears, peaches, strawberries, melon, and grapes.

Viola!!! White great tasting sangria for a very low cost!
Enjoy :)

Dance to the Beat of the Drum

Out of Africa, tribal inspirational photos taken by photographer Hans Silvester is a true fashion show inspired by mother nature.  These photos are filled with rich colors, lush vegetation, and flamboyant accessories.  The Surma and Mursi use their body as canvas to create wonderful designs.  Many use zebra skins for leggings, snail shells for necklaces and clay to stick their designs to their heads. This is all done without using mirrors!! Very interesting and absolutely breathtaking.  Check out the photos below.

Miranda Kerr-Vogue Spain

I love my job as a fashion stylist because it allows me to be creative.  My inspiration not only comes from ordinary people, world travels, colors, textures, etc., it also comes from other artistic talented people in the industry.  Through my research and daily readings I come across very inspiring photos or photoshoots done by these professionals...  Photographers, models, makeup artists, hair stylists, and of course fashion stylists.  I work as a fashion stylist not because I have to, but because I want to and because wardrobe has been my passion for many years.  My job is not only to style, but to create a work of art that speaks for itself.
