Weekend Wrap Up
i wanted to share some photos from my last weekend, but it has been such a crazy busy week for me. i started a new design show with OWN Network so i've been playing catch up in the office! anyways, here is a little slice of what my last weekend was like.
it's now friday, i will have another weekend wrap up soon! :)
my dog, cookie. she falls asleep everytime she is in the passenger seat of my car. i think it's because the ac blows right into her eyes...

Ventura County Fair
the last time i was at a fair was back in my small home town, zapata tx, which was about 7 years ago. just the other day mr. mitch mentioned the ventura county fair. he is from ventura so we decided to take a trip and visit his mom and son for lunch then head over to the fair for some really bad food (oreos, peanut butter cups, twinkies all deep fried.) ughh, is was all so good but all so bad, but i really enjoy the funnel cakes the most. oh, and i've never seen jumbo corn dogs before. wow..they are huge!
anyways, besides the food and ferris wheel ride, clay walker also performed live! Yes, I am a country girl at heart...from texas. :) i love me some country music! here are a few photos from our day.
these are sooo good! i wanted the glazed almond preztel, but of course they were all sold out. booo! so i settled for a cinammon and sugar pretzel instead.
almost like bull riding... except instead of the bull it's sheep.

they are called "wool riders." to bad i missed the show. :(

these are the jumbo corn dogs!! a 1/2 lb all beef 12 inch hotdog covered in deep fried goodness according to mr. mitch. i don't like corn dogs. :/
