BIOGRAPHY
10 Things About Corina:
1. I was born and raised in a small town called Zapata that borders Mexico in South Texas. Almost everyone thinks it means shoe in Spanish, but that would be Zapato.
2. I have one older brother who is completely the opposite of me...a rocker covered in tattoos.
3. My love of fashion initally began when I sketched my first garment that consisted of geometric shapes at age 4...later I dreamed of having my own signature line coming down the runway.
4. I put my dreams on hold and became a 3rd grade teacher after I graduated from college. Children are utterly remarkable.
5. After teaching for a year, I resigned and left all that was my life behind to move to Los Angeles. I took only one thing with me, my dog Cookie which. . .
6. . . is the love of my life, she is an adorable little Boston Terrier.
7. Bar None, I make the best guacamole ANYWHERE!
8. I don’t like to live in fear because it is a waste of time.
9. There are three words I live by, “Success,” “Confidence,” and “Happiness."
10. My fashion inspiration comes from photography, music, art, world travels, patterns, textures, ordinary people, celebrities, and colors. Lots of colors!
INTERESTS
I can eat watermelon and kiwis all day; world travels; wine goes great with fine cuisine or with a casual dinner; I listen to my iPod as much as possible; watching a funny movie is my cure for many things; Gerber Daisies are such inexpensive little flowers, but I love them so; And of course, all things fashion.
