2012 Resolutions

I wanted to share my list of resolutions to all of you.   I figured if I put it out to the world it will help me keep these resolutions going.  Somehow you can probably relate ;). What is your resolution for 2012?

1.  ENJOY LIFE!
2. SUCCESS with work (work smart not hard)
3. Stay IN-TOUCH with my friends and family back at home (call and say hello)
4.  TRAVEL more (save 300 dollars and book a flight out)
5. MANAGE Stress (traffic, work, and everything else that comes with stress)
6. SAVE Money (I want my own studio)
7. VOLUNTEER to help others (dogs and children)
8.  Eat more FRUITS and VEGGIES (which means, I need to cook more homemade meals)
9. TELL someone you love that you LOVE THEM on a more regular basis (not by text)
10.  SMILE MORE (especially at random people)

NEW YEAR= NEW ME AND YOU!!

IMATS Stila Runway Show by CGStyle

Check out CGStyle behind the scenes at the IMATS Stila Cosmetic Runway Show.  Thanks to Stila Director, Dom Brigulio and all the fashion designers for making this happen!!

A Dazzling Winter Shoot

One of my favorite magazines for photo shoot inspiration is Harper's Bazaar.  Check out the woman of the wild in this recent winter shoot spread.  All wrapped up in luxurious fur coats and dazzling colors like red, emerald green, and of course winter white!

Happy Holiday's in Wyoming

So Mitch and I are back in Riverton, Wyoming and this time for the holidays. Besides trying to keep warm in 6 below degree weather, (Mitch helped ;)) we were greeted by a WHITE CHRISTMAS!! Family holiday parties, homemade dinners, and even a trip to Boysen Reservoir for 3 chilly days of ice fishing, kept us busy ..

Freezing cold weather is not something I am accustomed to so it was a bit painful at first and being from Texas didn't help either!  Thank you to the Mitchell family for putting up with us for a total of 2 WEEKS!  I'm going to miss the homemade meals and delicious treats, which reminds me... I need to hit the gym when I get back to LA (sigh).

Christmas Day...
A White Christmas

7am early morning...time to feed the farm animals

Fresh flowers

Yummy pumpkin praline cake!

Goodness

Real dried orange ornaments decorate the country Christmas tree.

Homemade candy in mason jars.

And a tasty prime rib.

Glittery nails for the holidays make the girls smile.

My white elephant Christmas gift.  Flowers would look beautiful in this country milk can.   I was lucky I didn't get stuck with the cheesy romantic books.

Ice Fishing on Boysen Lake Reservoir...

Without these insulated snow boots, my toes would fall off.

Fishing hole

Early morning...time to check the holes.

Last day of our fishing trip.  The snow was stamped with love.
