Men's Must-Haves for Fall/Winter

Finally, it is that time of year to stock up on all your Fall and Winter essentials.  For me, let's start with a tube of Burt's Bee's Chapstick, shall we?  I must have chunky knit sweaters, plenty of scarves, an apple cinnamon candle, a bottle of Pinot Noir, and...well, the list goes on and on.  But before I proceed with a long list of women essentials this season, how about men's Fall and Winter must-haves?

Shoes and Sex

There are some things in life that women can't live without.  For me, owning a pair of heels is one of them.  Actually, maybe more than one pair.  I know you ladies agree, especially when you hear about the sale going on at your favorite department store.  Yes, so many fantastic shoes waiting for a new home.  However, I am always perplexed by the way some females force themselves to walk in heels.  Sometimes high heels are a little too high.  If you can't walk in them, don't make yourself look like a fool.  Trying too hard is very unflattering to the eye.  For those women who don't walk in heels regularly, flats can still make you look sexy as long as you maintain good posture. 

Now the question is...What is the connection between shoes and sex?  Dr. Maria Angela Cerruto, a urologist at the University of Verona, Italy, found that wearing a pair of heels gives pelvic muscles a workout.  Which means better orgasms during sex.  It also accentuates the appearance of caves and makes the wearer appear taller and slender.  Manolo Blahnik, a shoe designer, says that sexy high heels is a way to appeal to the male species, "to attract."  He says, "I have men who tell me that heels have saved their marriage."  For women it forces flattering definition in their legs and butt muscles."

Women have said that buying, owning , and wearing a pair of high heels is better than sex.

Halloween West Hollywood Style

On October 31, 2010 nearly half a million people parade down Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. I describe it as one of the most creative, outrageous Halloween celebrations in Los Angeles, CA. This year I decided last minute on a sassy harlequin costume.  Was it my first choice?  Not at all.  Originally, I wanted to be Cat Woman, but since I was missing my Batman, I decided to put it on hold until then. 

Throughout the day I took plenty of photos.  Not as much as I wanted to, but enough until my camera battery went dead.  Below are just a few out of thousands of people who celebrated the holiday.
